How to easily transfer files wirelessly between a Mac and a Samsung?

Hey,

Been struggling to find a good way to send files wirelessly between my Mac and my Samsung Galaxy A35. Tried a few apps before, but they were either super slow, buggy, or just way too complicated.

Anyone have a solid method or app that actually works well? Something that’s fast, easy to use, and safe?

Would really appreciate any recommendations!

Yeah, this a great app, I have been using it to transfer file from my android smartphone to macbook, and it is so smooth. @pennybak you should try LocalSend.

Yeah, this a great app, I have been using it to transfer file from my android smartphone to macbook, and it is so smooth. @pennybak you should try LocalSend.

I use the FileManager+ app on my Samsung devices which can fire up an FTP service which is then usable from other devices such as my Windows laptop. I assume a Mac is able to use FTP?

MacDroid has helped me many times. I downloaded it from here - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macdroid-manager-for-android/id1476545828?mt=12
It allows you to transfer files in two ways: via Wi-Fi or via USB. Very convenient! Also Snapdrop is a good alternative if you want to try something different.

Photos I've transferred, I have contacts and calendar with Google so that follows me everywhere

Edit seems to work for both on my testing
