Hey all-

I've been having trouble with my DI telling me my SDHC cards are "broken". I've tried an 8 GB class 6 and the 2 GB micro SD that came with it. I've formatted the cards, still no luck. The weird thing is, once the phone is on and I put in the card, it seems to think it's OK. But randomly when I turn on the phone, it says the card is broken.

Anyone else having trouble with this?

you need to format the cards first

settings>sd crad and phone storage> format SD card

I find it strange that it does not wipe data off the card when you format the card on the phone. I had to go in And delete the previous data using an explored app.

hmm, mine was blank but i thought it stated it WOULD erase the entire card. interesting

I got the same message, that it would erase the contents of the card. Was not the case in my situation.

has anyone had any troubles playing music directly off an sd card or does it work alright??

I formatted the my 16GB card and now it says 200MB. Clearly something was messed up when I had used it on my windows 7 laptop any suggestions on how to restore the card back to normal and then reformat?

I cannot format the card.
It reads it, but the option to format it is greyed out. Should I format it in the pc first?

had to unmount it first....sorry android newbie mistake.
