Hi I have a pocophone 1 and for the last week now I haven't been able to receive texts, I finally twigged something was wrong when I didn't receive a text from my bank.

I've done everything to rule out a SIM problem, EG swapt Sims over and I was able to receive texts using another phone, and I've checked network and it's fine, so far I've deleted messages cleared data and cleared the cache, and restarted my phone, so I'm pretty sure there is a problem with my phone, never had this problem before unless something obvious like a network issue, so I'm kind of baffled.

I would appreciate any help to rectify the problem, Thanks

Where are you located? If you're some place like Australia, where you must have a phone that will support the major carriers' VoLTE system, that might make your phone (which was released in 2018) incompatible.

I'm in the UK Scotland and I have Giffgaff, they're under 02 would say they're a major carrier here, definitely think it's my phone just don't know what's causing it.

It doesn't look like VoLTE requirements would be an issue in Scotland. Have you contacted giffgaff support?

Yes, that's where I was told to swap Sims over, I put my SIM into my dad's sent a text from dad's phone and it went through straight away, he's Giffgaff as well not that that would matter, so after doing all that do you still think it is Giffgaff, I'm guessing they would say it was my phone, I've only contacted the community so far, but didn't see the point of asking support, when swapping the SIM worked, Thanks.

When you checked with giffgaff, did you tell them the exact make and model of your phone? It may be worth asking them to confirm that your phone is supported on their network. Some carriers can be pretty picky about the phones they allow.

Hi I've been with them practically from the start of having my phone, and you said it was released in 2018, they still take my money every month, and up until till now always received a text to say, next roll on was coming.

So I don't think it's that but I will get back in touch with support and see if they can help, doesn't seem like I'm having much luck on here, apart from yourself trying to help, and I'm totally stumped, and Google just giving me the basics, although that usually works for the majority probably, it's still a decent phone after all those years, best money I've spent, but it's not looking promising so far, I suppose I could try a factory reset.

Yes can send text, but can't receive for some reason. what do you mean APN highlighted?
APN is access point names in settings.
