Not receiving picture messages

Just switched from iphone to galaxy s7 active, I cannot receive picture messages from an iphone, how do I fix this issue? Imessages are turned off on old iphone.

There is a website you can go to to manually deactivate your number off of iMessage. Goto http://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage. From there you can manually input your number to force it off the iMessage system. I would give it some time and then if the problem persists, contact your carrier.
