not receiving text messages

I'm having problems receiving my text messages. My friend called me and said "did you get my text" I said no and after I restarted my phone I got a ton of text messages. How can i fix this? thank you

Are you saying this is related to a ROM you flashed? Have you tried loading a different SMS message app like Go SMS or Handcent???

I had the same problem, and yes it was the rom. Try to reflash, or switch roms.
