Not receiving texts from iPhone users

All of the sudden I am not getting some of my text messages from my iPhone user friends.... I swap my Sim card in between my s6 and iPhone 6s,but haven't had this problem before?

See this article: Issues with texts after moving to Android from iPhone? Here's an easy fix! | Android Central. This usually occurs when someone moves permanently from an iPhone to an Android device. But I would guess that swapping back and forth would also cause this problem.

if you activated imessage this is exactly what happens. Apple keeps your number in a data base and when anyone else with imessage trys to text you it'll only go to apples server.

I went in and removed my number from imessage. I think it is fixed this morning. I am a phone junkie and cannot choose one phone to be monogamous with.....

you could keep switching to iPhone just deactivate imessage and you'll be fine. It'll be green instead of blue only difference (WiFi differences too but you should be able to send SMS with almost no signal)

As mentioned, leaving iMessages off on your iPhone will solve this problem.
