Not receiving texts through Google Message

I have a Redmi Note 7. Just updated to MIUI 12.5.1. Randomly I'm not receiving text messages through Google messages even if I have a texting history with them. My sister was texting me this morning about 5 times. I didn't get any of them. I texted her and then got her responses. I still haven't received the 5 messages she sent. This situation has happened with multiple other people. So far, they have all been while I have been at my house, that I know of. It's only cell service based. I'm receiving what's app messages, Snapchat all just fine

All of the above. Force stop? Is this where you swipe to close the app? I don't know the names for everything.

Does clearing data delete all the text conversations?

Yes deletes data but once you open the app back up it repopulate everything back , force stop is at bottom of my screenshot

Yes deletes data but once you open the app back up it repopulate everything back , force stop is at bottom of my screenshotView attachment 336000

Well, I won't really know if I don't get a message unless the person reaches out to me a different way. I'll just have to monitor it over the next few days
