Not receiving texts

I have a galaxy s10+ and my wife has an iPhone. She can receive my texts but I'm not receiving any of hers. I have no problem texting between Android phones though. This wasn't a problem before.
I do also have an iPhone but it's turned off and the SIM card is in the Android. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Try turning iMessage off , it might be associated with your number still.

Mustang has you pointed in the right direction.

The iMessage servers think your phone number is associated with an iPhone. Thus, the iMessage servers try to send the "instant message" from your wife to your iPhone, not to your Android phone using SMS.

You Android phone knows nothing about iMessage, so it always does SMS.

Along with unregistering your phone number with the iMessage servers, also have your wife flag your number as SMS in her contacts app.
