not sure which rom is best for me?

i rooted my phone today with unrevoked3, having no idea what to do afterwards. i dont know how to pick a rom or how to flash it,
but i just want to get rid of the unnecessary apps: city id, amazon mp3, quickoffice, etc. and i really have problems with texting with a plain touchscreen; i always press periods instead of spaces... and i want the text notification to be longer than just a beep... i want it to actually ring.
i feel like its kind of a weird way to nitpick this phone, but not sure what i could/should do.

Just download rom manager . In rom manager select download rom (i suggest you pick ifhp) download skyraider sense 3.3 final .. When its done rom manager will give you ^ options (1 to backup and the other to wipe) check both and hit ok... Thats it !

If there are any apps you will want to reinstall, or if you want to keep your contacts, then also download titanium backup and run it prior to flashing a different rom.

Open ROM manager and select Download ROM. You'll see several to choose from. My personal favorites are RMK/Virtuous and ihftp/SkyRaider. Choose the latest version of whichever one you want, download it, install it. You'll be asked if you want to backup and wipe; you probably want to do both. It will install and restart itself in the new ROM.
