Note 1, Note 2 or Google Nexus 4: $400, $800, or $300

I need an unlocked, in-warranty device with an excellent camera [ala S3], MP3 player, wifi and occasional phone use. Love the Notes' size/pen, but have seen mixed reviews about camera. Want storage, so Nexus a problem; but the facts that it's new and costs less are positives. Will probably have a Consumer Cellular SIM--only use 50min/mo and free-or-home wifi. Welcome comments and suggestions! Thanks

I would say the Note 2 because of SD options and the length of times you can expect updates. The Nexus 4 has too little of internal storage for me. I own the Note 2 and the only android phone that intrigues me beside the Note 2 is the Droid DNA. I own the Note 2 and the other 2 phones are not even in the same ballpark for me.

Honestly the Note 2 isn't worth the extra freaking $500 over the Nexus 4. You'll miss out on the SD and have a slightly worse camera. In exchange though, it's a Nexus (most importantly), has considerably more powerful internals and a better quality screen.
