Note 10.1 will not recognize Micro SD card

I have had my Note 10.1 for about a month an I have tried unsuccessfully to get the tablet to recognize the sandisk 32g micro sd card. I have tried two different cards. I've done both a hard and soft reset . Can anyone help me?

I get it to recognize my 32GB external SD card, but am unable to get it to write to it.
Want to store my music, videos, podcasts, pictures, etc. on the external SD card, as well as sync them with S4 phone and iPad 2.

Anyone have any suggestions?

How about putting it in your PC and formatting the SD CARD

I'm using this SanDisc 32 GB card. I just opened the package and popped into my GN 10.1 and it worked without issues.

Multiple cards don't work? You could plug the cards into a PC just to be sure but I'd expect a bad card slot. Solution likely warranty replacement.
