I've got a Note 10 (factory unlocked) that I bought new at Bestbuy running with an AT&T SIM. Since ATT is going to require VOLTE starting in January I wanted to confirm that the phone is running VOLTE.

Model is SM-N970U1.

Is there a setting I can confirm this with?

Nothing about VOLTE or Advanced Calling or anything like that under Mobile Networks.

However, this seems to imply it'll work (PDF):

I'm just concerned that my Note 10 might suddenly not work on ATT starting in February. I don't see any way to turn it on. I will say that recently i discovered that WiFi calling now works which it didn't used to.

If it won't work ud rather make a planned transition to T-Mobile this fall instead of having to scramble in February.

AT&T blocks out a lot of mobile network related settings that most other carriers allow to be set. Even unlocked phones if supported by AT&T.

The Note 10 is one such phone.

AT&T has a list of supported devices after the 3G shutdown. I tried to link it but the forum keeps re-writing the link so that it won't work. It's supposed to link to a PDF on AT&Ts site.

The unlocked Note 10 will continue to be supported - it's the N970U1 on that list.

Here's a screen shot of just the first page...

I think the original version of that PDF didn't have the U1 model listed.

You would think that somewhere in the menus you would find mention of HD Voice or VOLTE or something!

Not on AT&T phones. They would prefer to just make those settings for you.

That list has been recently updated - this is just the first page with all the Samsung phones listed. They added some newer released A#2 models.
