it's a hottie to be sure. my heart skipped a beat and my finger knew what to do. had to back right off of it. too bad, wrong time of year and can't use my current gear anyway right now. but before... sigh

you should see what my 300mm f/4D ED-IF AF-S Nikkor does with a macro situation. can't put my hands on a shot for you right now, but I used to use it that way and it is so wow. amazing lens, if not the absolute best.
