I have an old Nikon FE and a really old Kodak box camera that belonged to my mom.
I started with a pocket 110 film camera, I recall a slider in front of the lens for telephoto pics. I even had a Minox spy camera...piece of junk. Also had a Pentax K1000 with its needle exposure reading. Then had a Pentax Super Program with multi auto/program modes, so cool. Then a Nikon F4 film camera which I thought was bad @ss, shot tons of film with that, even once had a 1,000mm fixed aperture mirror lens. Then used manual Hasselblad 503cx medium format film gear for over 15 years, spent a fortune on that entire system for both equipment and "cut & bag" 6x6cm film processing. Then went into digital with a Nikon D1x and D100, then a D2x, and so on. Don't even get me started on studio and lighting equipment which took up an entire bedroom.
