Unfortunately, this is a has been a well-known issue with Samsungs on AT&T's network that they can't seem to (or don't care to) fix. I'm sure Mustang will give you good info on Odin. For me that didn't work because I don't have a PC. Only solution was leaving AT&T. On T-Mobile now and have no problems with getting updates. Sorry that wasn't more helpful. Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one, and a number of us understand how frustrating it can be.

Yep I'm one of the ones who's had this issue since the S8, Note 9, and now with my note 10+. Its crazy that no one can figure this out.

You will regret updating to version 10, I did and wish I never did it.

Why would anyone regret it, to me Android 10 is better in many ways from Android 9, also if you was to stay on Android 9 you be at risk not being on the Latest security patch.

Why would you assume someone else would regret it? I don't regret it and I don't know many who do.

True, everyone's mileage will vary as to whether one likes or dislikes a new major update. I don't like the update cuz it's so radically different from the previous version 9. I used to know how to navigate throughout the menu setting screens to get things done in version 9. But with the new 10 version, I can't figure out anything. To this day, I still have a hard time figuring out where to go in settings to find things. If someone is completely new to Android, it won't make any difference. But for someone stuck in his way like me, I'm struggling with the update.

Many things in settings I just search for

The loved it when one of the AT&T representatives assured me now that they know about it, he was sure they'd fix the problem. I admired his optimism I guess, but as you point to, this is not a new problem. And there is no way they are not aware of it considering the pages and pages of discussions you can find about it on their own help forum dating back years. I lucked out with my S8 and Note 9, but had the problem on by S7 and S10. Both of the latter two came from Best Buy (but were AT&T branded phones), but I think that might(?) be a coincidence.
