Note 10 plus 5G UK question

Right I've a friend gonna sell me his Vodafone Note 10 plus 5G upgrade for a good price, if it can be unlocked and I can use my Three SIM.

Question is when 5G is available on Three will it work on the Note or cause of different network 5G spectrum will it only work on Vodafone 5G? Does this make sense?

I know the S10 5G was locked but not sure about Note 10.

5G in GB will be 5G, but if it's a US 5G phone it may not work - your carrier (whichever one it may be) will probably be using the Huawei system, which can't be used in the US.

The phone is locked as to SIM, not as to phone protocol. If it can take your SIM, it's unlocked (or locked to the carrier you're using).

if your friend is on bill pay with Vodafone he should be able to request the NAC code from their website once he receive the phone and have the imei number, it can take up to 2 weeks but you might be lucky that it isn't sim/network locked at all, Notes I've bought from Vodafone Ireland has never been locked (Vodafone Ireland is a subsidiary under Vodafone UK)
