Note 2 ringer volume resetting to low volume

Hi everybody. My Note 2's ringer volume will spontaneously reset to the second to lowest volume setting. I will turn it back up then it will intermittently reset back again. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how long it will go before resetting.

Has anybody else experienced this?

don't know the cause of your issue, BUT you could try an app from the Play store, to lock the volume anywhere you choose. I used to use it on my Bionic. It's called Volume Locker and is compatible with our phones. It is very simple to use, IMO. It has adjustable timeouts so that you can deliberately change volume, but any inadvertent change will be overridden in X seconds. let me know what u think of it.

I have this problem whenever I am long pressing my sidekey, and setting to to Mute or Vibrate. When I repeat it and switch it back to Sound, my different volume levels are all set a lot lower then where I had them prior to switching to mute or vibrate. I'm assuming its a software bug

I have the same problem. I just installed Volume Control that someone recommended and hopefully that will do the trick. Never had this happen before.
