Note 20/Note 20 Ultra accessories discussion.

How many have ordered camera screen protectors this time?

I have a set from Spigen coming as they were only a few quid. Jury is out whether ill put them on our not.

The camera does protrude like Madonna in her cone days granted, so we'll see.

Apologies if I missed a follow up--the thread has quickly gotten incredibly long--but did you ever get it? I am looking at that too, along with an ESR and a Caseology. I'm thinking, for the first time, that a camera protector is a must. I was not encouraged by an Amazon review of a customer who dropped the phone and showed a shattered camera lens with the Spigen on it. I guess it can always happen, but....

Since I opted for the cheaper 128gb version of the Note20 Ultra what is everyone's recommendation for a 512gb Micro SD card? I have a Samsung 256gb that I believe was a freebie for the Note9 but it looks like it's time to upgrade.

I'm using the same size Sandisk and bought the 128. That seems like more than enough space just now--I'll start out with about 100gb+ free in both places. If I need more, I'll upgrade. But life's been good so far. :) I do have a 400 Samsung SD in my tablet, which works fine.

I received this case by Poetic. I've been looking for a rugged case to go with my collection and this one really seemed to fit the bill. It's the pretty standard two piece: frame plus case. The edges of the case is made of a hard rubber whereas the back is a hard tpu plastic. The phone fits snug and because the edges are raked narrow, it doesn't feel very thick in the hand. The kickstand works in both portrait and landscape mode, and can also act like a finger holder. I like this case.

But, I think I'll need to send it back. Why?? Because unfortunately it doesn't play very nice with Whitestone Dome. The lips of the case are too close on the edges and even overlap at top. It's actually quite a challenge putting the frame with your phone into the case and an even bigger challenge removing your phone. I don't know how the frame didn't snap in half. Because the frame is so snug, it will push against your WSD (if you have one) while you try to remove or insert your phone and it will lift your WSD and ruin it.

I've had these types of cases before, and they weren't nearly as hard to insert and remove your phone as hard as it was with this Poetic case. I think the rubberized edges are harder than the others I've used which makes it really hard to get your phone out (or in).

So, I wanted to like this case but I won't be able to keep it. If you don't have WSD, then this should be fine except you may break a fingernail trying to get your phone out.

Case looks very similar to the OtterBox defender case. Did it come with a holster?

Anyone have experience with the Supcase UB Pro and the Whitestone Dome? Is is it WSD friendly? Or will it lift your protector when putting it on and off?

It can be. I say that because the inner frame will likely sit on top of the top and bottom part of the WSD. I have the i-Blason that is the same kind of case and thats what it is doing to mine. The outer piece will cause a bit of pressure on the frame, and if your WSD is off by the slightest bit, it could cause some lifting or at minimum som bubbles to appear where it is pressing against the WSD glass.

IMO, I think it is worth having that that kind of combo.

I have 7 different cases for the Note 20 Ultra and the Samsung Rugged is by far the best case out of the bunch. Excellent fit, feel, grip and overall a perfect case for the Ultra. I just wish the black version was not such a fingerprint/smudge magnet. On top of the two kickstands the case will also stand up vertically on it's own. :p

I have the same case and really like it. I usually buy a bunch of cases, but this was my first one for the Note 20 and don't feel the need to get others right now.

Funnily the black rugged isn't a magnet like the note 10+ and the s20U were. Much less smudging and the kickstand doesn't get abrasions. Really great.
