Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

I was just awaken with the beep of my email from Samsung telling me it was time to preorder. Like the impulsive person that I am, I preordered the 512GB Note 20 Ultra through Verizon. Not too happy the 512GB version only comes in black, but meh. I'll slap a case on it and call it a day. It's expected to be here by the 21st.

Thanks for the heads up on Rakuten cashback increase. When I placed the order it was 3%.

So did all the dance again and now 10% cancel offer, 10% rakuten cashback, 7% employer discount. Raking up discounts lol

For my earlier order cashback was confirmed within few hours and was deposited into rakuten account. Let's see if the 10% cashback confirms by tomorrow and deposits into rakuten account. For S20, we had to wait few weeks and multiple follow ups with Rakuten to get the 10% credited to the account.

I'm afraid I'll lose that extra 70 coupon code if I cancel and try that 10 percent Rakuten.

FYI I got an email from Samsung just now saying due to a technical "glitch" my extra 50 dollar credit wasn't applied to my purchase, the pre order reserve one and it says it will be refunded when my Note ships.

Is the 50 in addition to the 200 or part of the 200?

i ordered the 512 unlocked. First unlocked device from Samsung. From what I've read, the unlocked device have been getting updates faster than the carrier devices. Seems to make sense as Samsung doesn't have to bake carrier apps into their roms.

I'm brand new to Rakuten... I had to use my link from my email to order, and I'm at the checkout screen. How can I make this a purchase that Rakuten will recognize?

Depends on the carrier. On Verizon we get security updates faster. The system updates are just behind the carrier models.

At 5am my phone alerted to an email from Samsung with the email link for the pre-order. (Sleep is overrated when a pre-order is involved)

I always wanted to try a Note, so it was time. I couldn't pass up the 400.00 trade-in credit for my s9+. It's also the first time buying directly from Samsung. (Fingers Crossed.)

I purchased the unlocked Ultra 128 Mystic Bronze. I did receive the 50.00 reservation credit along with the additional 150.00 bonus credits for the full 200.00. Picked up the uv sterilizer, buds, charger bundle.

I'm on camping trip, glad I had a phone signal.

As I suspected... $499 corp price for the Note 20. Not too bad for Corp... but we've been deploying iPhone SE because they have been offering them for us basically free for upgrading an existing line.

It can exist for Enterprise use. When deploying phones we don't care about giving users the best with the 50x camera or 120hz at QHD. If they want an S-Pen then the cheaper one will do and not like the screen diff between the two will make it useless. $1000 retail... Corp account price is probably around $499 which is better than $799.

On this ship lol preordered the Note20 Ultra 5G 512GB from AT&T with my Note9 as a trade-in, for now will keep my Note10 Plus.

Yes you can but you can't do it while pre-ordering the Note 20 Ultra. If you purchase the watch separately, you can trade it in. You are able to save the 200 dollar credit and 35 days from delivery of the phone, you'll get an email on how to use the credit. Hopefully you're able to do a trade in AND use the credit. And hopefully the price comes down on the watch a bit. I am still rocking my S3 Frontier and I am a little hesitant to switch to a Watch 3 because MST is no longer supported.
