I was told that the current promo discounts are in effect until at least the 19th, and maybe the 20th. Theyre also giving you a minth to return it if you change your mind--14 days to request the return, & 14 more for the device to be received. You don't need to rush it if your Note 9 is working ok.

Have the Note 20 Ultra sitting in my cart right now with the Galaxy Buds plus. Hesitant to pull the trigger because I love my Note 9....its been a great phone...but having 5G, better camera and 120hz are significant upgrades. On the downside I lose a headphone jack and the iris scanner which is my preferred method for unlocking a device. I've been going back and forth on it all morning lol.

Call Rakuten and they'll credit the 3% to your account. I did this last year and they were very accommodating. I think I had to leave a message and they returned my call within a couple of hours.

How easy is it to use Google apps instead of Samsung's these days? Google messages, photos for a gallery, YouTube music, Google's phone app etc. I'm always so close to ordering the newest Samsung, but the thought of using their software stops me from following through. Having just recently set up a Galaxy a71 for a family member, it still seems like a much worse experience than a pixel phone. Basically, would it be easy to setup and use like a pixel?

I use all Google apps for those, everything except the dialer. Im not logged into anything Samsung on my Note 10, for security reasons and also, recently, because of all of the Samsung in-app ads. I have zero issues.

Doesn't it need to actually be used on an order for you to loose it, i.e. applied to a purchase?

Yea the tech 21 case looked good and sleek on it. They let me try it on before they put it on the sales floor today. I really like the boxy feel compared to the roundness of the S20 Ultra.

Tech21 is always my default case, though it does sometimes feel sticky, even when wiping down with alcohol these days. But the grippiness is great!

Don’t do it. The phone will be there when you got income again. Keep you and your family afloat. You don’t want to be on the street begging for money and food. Only deal with needs right now and not wants. Be smart.

Agreed. I got an unbelievable deal on a Note 10 at New Years at the Microsoft Store--decent trade-in + a good sale price, a free wireless charger, & discounted Microsoft Office.

yeah when you dial 1855-726-8721 it will ask you if you want to receive texts notifications it will send you a text and you just send your email with order niumber

It just asks for an email address ONLY. I have yet to receive a text reply back.

How well does the fingerprint scanner work under another piece of glass?

It works well but for me I preferred the fingerprint sensor on the rear with the Note 9 and the iris sensor, it just felt more natural as you pick it up.

Yeah, no go naked on this, I’ll probably go with a thin case but something on the back none the less.

Skins won't be an option anymore if Samsung keeps this up. That camera hump is just too big.

That's expected that authorization will drop off and will get charged when the phone ships.

Samsung Canada is shipping their phones out on or after August 17th so I assume the carriers will be around that time too.
