Watch for more replies. I'm not sure on the refundWhelp, that sucks. Thanks for the quick response though!
Well if you don't think there is a big difference between the 9 and 20 ultra, which I think there is between the 2, then stay where you're at. Moving for 5G right now is no reason to change, 5G is nowhere close to being a good reason to move, there's a long ways from being decent. It's very sparse and will be for awhile. Although,I think T MOBILE is leading the path, Verizon is trailing IMO, but that's nothing new with Verizon.I currently have the tmobile note 9, should I wait for the note 21ultra or do you think 20U is worth upgrading to?(I feel like there isnt a Hugh gap in overall performance and features besides 5g. So is 5g alone worth upgrading to? )
Apparently my Note 20 Ultra will be here on August 11th...
When I talked to Samsung on laing day, a supervisor told me that if you don't use the credit at Ali, you loose it, but if you use part of our, the balance stays on your account for cutie purchases. I haven't seen that in writing though.I seem to remember that you will not. I have no idea. I do know you have to use it all at one time or lose the portion you didn't use
Quick question:
If I preorder the Buds Live as part of my promotional gift and cancel them, will I be ‘refunded’ that amount back?
I called back and you are correct. I can move the phone to another line. To keep the promo discount credits I have to keep the new line and a smart phone on the new line for the 24 months, which I'm fine with I shut a line down that doesn't get used that much.I wouldn't worry about that telesales, you will be able to use the Note 20 on whichever line you want. Just swap the SIM and you are good to go. If you got any offers by adding a line or something like that just you have to keep that line active and not dependent on what phone you use on which line.
I believe the opposite is true unless things have changed. When I talked to Samsung on laing day, a supervisor told me that if you don't use the credit at Ali, you loose it, but if you use part of our, the balance stays on your account for cutie purchases. I haven't seen that in writing though.

I thought that, but you know Verizon, 3 different reps,3 different answersCool.... In general Verizon or any carrier doesn’t care what phone you use or on which line. All they care is you are paying for them monthly for all the lines and device payments if you have any. They don’t care where those phones are used.
Yes...correct....I cancelled a few times and always received the 200 credit. Once though it only canceled the device and left the accessories in the order which prevented me from ordering until I cancelled accessories. It is true that the remainder of the instant credit is only good on your preorder purchase. If you don't use it then it is gone. It will warn you of that when you go to check out.
Also, when I accidentally cancelled my preorder and ordered again, the $200 credit was there, no problem. Just make sure you use the link in your email from Samsung.
Hello,
I'm new here and just wanted to share that I just pre-ordered using the tricks shared in this thread. I used a 5% off referral code, 10% cashback through Rakuten, and 10% off after requesting cancellation. Im trading in my Note 8 for $250 so after taxes I will be paying around $880. This is about $300 more than what I paid for my Note 8 using similar promotions, but I got the buds live and a case and will be returning a pair of buds + I recently purchased so this will offset the cost. I previously had the Note 4 and Note 5 so I'm a loyal consumer and looking at other options such as the S20+ or One Plus 8 Pro, which is currently sold out, this seems like a good deal given the market.
I had to do two orders and received the cancellation offer both times using Best Buy so perhaps it depends on which competitor you select?
I still enjoy my Note 8 so im really excited to upgrade!
Thank you everyone for sharing your pre-order experience and tips.
