What's the point in having a 5g phone if your carrier/network does not support it, and probably won't for the foreseeable future?
I would have bought the Ultra 4g if it was available for sure, would have been around £100 less.

All 5G ready phones likely only come in 5G plans now.

My plan is 3gb per month, I have wifi 6 at work, wifi at home and 'free' BT hotspots everywhere in between, on 5g my 3gb mobile data would be chewed up in an instant. I have no need for it

Pulled the trigger! $838 later, I'm happy with my Mystic Bronze N20U and matching Watch 3. The watch was only $182 which is close to what I'd pay for a used Active 2. Why not? I don't have the new features on my Frontier anyway and the new one's pretty! Hopefully they'll push the update and we can use em to their max capabilities.

I've used 90.8GB on my N10+, so this lil funky 128GB will be just fine for me.

Now to sit back and watch this $h!+ show we call pre-order! *grabs wine and popcorn*

They're pretty much on par with each other. We have been getting the security patches 1-3 days in the month. Unlocked updates still vary by carrier.

Question I'm going back and forth with getting unlocked or getting Tmobile through samsung. How long does it take for unlocked to receive updates?

I got the early preorder email but it won’t allow me to do Verizon financing for some reason.... so I guess I don’t early pre order. Normally it allows me to choose Verizon payments but it’s only Samsung payments that I see....

I reread this several times looking for any loopholes. It does not specify the Note20 Ultra, however.

I just preordered the mystic bronze Ultra. Wasn't going to upgrade from the Note 10+ but with the trade-in points and $200 toward the Watch Active 3, I just couldn't NOT do it.

How long does it take for unlocked to receive updates?

The US unlocked N10+ has been through 18 firmware versions in less than 12 months. It got the Aug 1 Android security patch yesterday (Aug 4).

Ok, it looks like we will actually be able to claim free Beans (buds live) here, max 400 trade-in though... f... that.
I'm surprised that there's a 128gb version (posted a few posts up) , I only get 256 and 512 options here.

I was able to get $650 for my Note 10+. The trade in also depends on the unit you order. Since I did the Note 20 Ultra (128gb, white) I got the top trade in price.
I did have issues with the instant credit because it showed I had $200 but when I went to check out it only applied $150. Also, I was really disappointed that the 512 GB only came in black.

Interesting you can pre-order on the app, but not yet on their website. By the way, did you reserve early? I thought you had to wait for their e-mail for the $50 instant credit for reserving early? Did that come up in your order?

I ordered through the web from email they sent me. I was surprised it was live to preorder already. Maybe they meant tomorrow in Korean time.

I got the email yesterday after reserving, but it doesn't have a promo code in it and when I click on the link and add things to my cart, the discount doesn't show up–so I called customer support. They said they would email me tonight or tomorrow with a link or code that should work.
