What are the benefits going unlocked?

I would get unlocked. All the features on the unlocked using Tmobile work the same just like if it was a Tmobile branded Note.

Colorado State just released their updated seasonal forecast and calling for the second most active season ever behind 2005! Aug. 20th is usually when it's busy so who knows weather wise. GFS model around aug 15th hinting at a hurricane in the Caribbean sea possible!

What are the benefits going unlocked?

No ugly carrier boot logo, no carrier junk and any modifications to the firmware carriers decide to make based on their profit. And US unlocked faster updates. Basically it's the version of the phone on how Samsung intended it to be.

If none of that bothers or you could care less about that then choose which ever you are comfortable with.

Seems like its true. They still say it can charge 50% in 30 min maybe they got some new tech in there
