Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

I am as confused as heck trying to figure out best deal if both my husband and I want new 20 Ultras. Currently with VZW but was told it is not a true BOGO rather you have to add a new line to existing line and we would have to pick a new plan to get off our 55+ Loyalty plan. Guess our second phone line could be ported over and then dump the existing second line but what a hassle.

Just chatted wirh TMob and was told they will have a true BOGO but I was really leaning toward buying unlocked directly from Samsung. Never had an unlocked phone but it seems to be free of the bloatware carriers stick on but am curious how voicemail works on unlocked.

Did the Samsung pricing and with discounts all in for my S9+ comes out at $790 before Rakuten rebate...so roughly $700 for me. Hubby will be trading in Note 8 so his new phone will be more expensive.

Just puttin' it out there to see if anyone has ideas to save a few more $$$ or if I have missed something....

I'm on T-mobile, I always buy unlocked direct from Samsung. That's usually the best deal with max trade in value plus accessory credit. I was able to download the official t mobile visual voicemail. Everything works great. I like not being tied to a specific carrier.

preorder done on samsung.com. I have used them for last three preorders without issue. Bronze unlocked note20 ultra ,trading in my note 10+,I always get unlocked I have t mobile works great

That trick about canceling due to finding a better price and then getting 10% is awesome!!!

I am trying to order but never got a link for the $50 for reserving and that straight up irritates me... I also am unsure whether I need to order Sprint or T-Mobile -- can I just order unlocked and not have to worry about it??? I am a Sprint customer but I prefer unlocked devices...

I have Sprint and I ordered the unlocked Note 20 ultra bronze. I am trading in my Note 10+ from last year. Also got unlocked. Worked fine on Sprint.

No it’s more like they know not many people will buy 512 GB so probably had like some 3 of them for sale. Same thing happened with S20 ultra 512 GB versions.
I think you're wrong....they had had 4 for sale

You should always be able to swap SIMs
Even with these being 5G devices? I usually have to call and have them update my IMEI on my account, when ever I get a new phone. But I figured with 5G, I would likely have to use the new SIM. I had to do that when I Went from 3G to 4G. I remember because they didn't want to take my old SIM and transfer my contacts. So, I had to buy a SIM card reader and back up the old one in order to migrate my info.

I saw that but why was the 45 watt charger one of the items you could use the $200 rebates on?
