Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

Hey guys! I pre ordered a note 20 ultra on the 6th and I have a shipping label created for FedEx already. My pre authorization hold fell off recently. However I've been having issues with the payment method that I used to pre order and it won't be able to be fixed until late next week which will be after Samsung ships pre orders. My question is does Samsung charge your card for the final amount BEFORE the item ships, or AFTER it ships? I'm hoping it's after so I can still receive my pre order in time while paying the final amount after the issue with my payment method is resolved. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my question!

Last year mine charged after shipping. I remember saying I didn't care if my card never got charged because my phone and accessories were on the way. I can't say for certain how much time passed after it was actually shipped though. Could have been the next day, idk.

You left out the third and probably "Correct" choice - I believe they charge our cards "WHEN" they ship!!! Not "Before", not "After"!!! I looked back at my Note 9 in August of 2018 and it got charged the day it shipped... for what it's worth!

Shipping label for FedEx was created a few minutes a go. Says delivery on Wed 19th.

Thanks for mentioning Rakuten because I have completely forgotten about them and I just ordered today and cashback is 6% now.

So my breakdown is 6% Rakuten with a military discount, plus I get 3% cashback with the credit card I used on this.

Then I'm going to try the 10% off trick but I'll give it a couple of days before hitting that cancel button and hope it still works.

I would have then brought down a $1300 phone down to around $650 when it's all said and done. Plus the freebies.

I paid for phone in full to maximize my cashback rewards.

And my bill will be cheaper with no installment plan.

I did nearly the same thing. Discounts and a friend buying my Note 9 will bring just the phone down to under $600. But then I bought the beans and the watch. Still not too bad though.

Just got a shipping label! Estimated delivery of Monday....Not gonna hold my breath but that would be awesome!

Edit: The weight of the package tells me it's not the phone....so must be the battery pack...

Usually i always preorder 2. Just cause always have backups, but the third one is actually for my son, he was bothering me for the white one so i went ahead and preordered 2 more, so basically now all 3 US colors we will have.

I have a question. How soon did you cancel to get the 10% offer? Did you wait a few days or do it all in the same day?

I just ordered today and was thinking about going back in now and clicking cancel before it's too late or should I wait a couple of days?

What's your thoughts?

I did it few minutes after i ordered and was offered 10% to keep the order. I had to cancel and reorder 3 times but each of those times i got offered 10% to keep the order.

Nice....wish I could talk my family into Android but in some respects its better my wife uses an iPhone. My daughter is pretty tech savvy but she's gotta have FaceTime. I have the best of both worlds because my work phone is an iPhone. Sometimes my swipes and settings get confusing.....lol
