Note 20 Ultra pre-order thread!

Another day, still no label, no tracking info, nothing. I'm happy for everyone is seeing movements, but can't believe i haven't received anything when I pre-ordered on the 6th like most of you all.

Ugh, I wish I pre-ordered 1 day sooner. When I put it in my cart it was to ship on the 19th, then came back a couple hours later last night and ordered and it said 21st.

So hoping it ships by the 20th so I have it on Saturday the 22nd. If so, I will be happy. I need all weekend to set it up and play around with it lol.

It's very strange it says 21st for shipping and 25th for delivery. It should be 24th with a 2 day shipping label.

Anyone order from Samsung AFTER the 14th have a notice that it shipped yet?

Also I realized this morning Samsung charged me tax on the full $1,300 even though mine was only $750 with the trade in. Did this happen to anyone else? I will likely give them a call about this today.

I ordered yesterday evening. At the time I ordered, it said ship by Aug 19 and the the processing email said delivery by August 25. I’m hoping mine ships today and I at least have it by Thursday or Friday at the latest

That's the thing. It should've left that facility and reached another facility by now. Yesterday people's packages were reaching Memphis on the first day of shipping. There's no way it should still say "picked up in Irving TX" I don't think it's getting delivered tomorrow at this rate.

Do you have text messages from FedEx turned on? As I posted above, I got a message from FedEx this morning, telling me to expect a shipment tomorrow, even though there's been an absence of scans since Irving.

Same here. No action since the initial pickup at Texas. I guess tonight (hopefully anyway) there will be an arrival scan at a FedEx nearby a d then tomorrow out for delivery.

This doesn't surprise me, but I'm glad you posted about it. --I'm not buying until tomorrow.

Samsung will likely say that the discount is a "rebate," and its not uncommon for taxes to be charged for rebate. The fact that this price reduction is actually because you're giving them another phone should invalidate their argument. Please let us know what happens with this when you talk to them.

Couple things from MKBHD's video: He said the Note20 Ultra does support 45W charging, I thought it didn't? Also he mentioned a "shutter lag" when taking pictures. One thing I've always enjoyed with Samsung phones is their "Motion Photo" option. It literally guarantees one way or another you will always get the perfect picture and the "shutter lag" issue isn't really an issue.

I was thinking the same thing. I also like SuperSafs camera comparisons, but it sounds like it is a marginal upgrade. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed in the Note20U camera configurations compared to the S20U. But i do love the Note10+ cameras as it, so I think i will still enjoy the N20U cameras.

mine has been saying In Transit since yesterday, when I stupidly hit Hold at FedEx location. I should be home when they deliver, except for an hour round trip drive to pick up my wife tomorrow afternoon. But I also don't want to take the chance of it being delivered in that hour window, even though it's usually not.

My option to cancel is now gone. So I guess that’s a good thing. Do you still have the option to cancel?

Me too, got the fedex text this morning but still at picked up in irving. Maybe they just aren't scanning them?
