Note 20 Ultra specs, (Europe) and official marketing pics!

I agree going all black does help in hiding the camera... it hides all details throughout the whole phone. That's ok too... nothing wrong with a "murdered out" phone. I went with black on the 8 because I don't recall liking the other colors available so black is also a "safe" color.

You're right, get what you like. Some will love the Copper at first site. I like the Copper but didn't hit me like White did. And you can see the detail of the frame in Silver and the curves of the glass and the curves around the buttons. Really like it.

Hey Mike, which color you liking when you get your Note 20?

Get what you like, but whether it's silver or black on white doesn't make the camera look smaller or bigger. The only way to make the camera look less obtrusive is to make to make the colors similar like the gold or black. That's why I went with the Black S20 Ultra over the grey.

I'm most likely going gold but most of the time it will be cased anyway. I used to use clear cases but clear doesn't always do a device color justice unless it's a plain color. I'll see how it looks in clear otherwise I'll buy a juiced up case. My iphone Xr and S20 Ultra sit in a UAG black and red case which adds a distinctive look, a little bit of girth but a lot of protection.

I think putting the 990 into the Note 20 is just lazy profiteering. They know people will want the phone, but the compromises for the price is just disgusting. It is a far far inferior phone to the model going to the Americas and S. Korea. It is unfair and a really nasty thing to do to their customers. The performance of the 990 is just sub-par. They were called out for it with the S20 series and they have learned nothing. When Gary Sims does his speedtest-G on the 2 varieties of Note (SD vs 990) we will see just how badly it fares. It fared badly against the 865 so it will be hands down worse with the 865+.
To be honest I doubt there is a massive difference between the Galaxy Note 10+ chip Exynos 9825 and the Exynos 990 in the Note 20 Ultra. Samsung should have bit the bullet this year, with everything that has happened, and just used the snapdragon 865+ for all of their Note 20 Ultra variants, especially after reports of how embarrassingly bad the Exynos 990 fared on the S20 against the Snapdragon 865.

It's all *leaks* and *rumours* so far, I'm not taking anything as gospel until 5th August when Samsung gives us the details directly.
But yes, it's hard to imagine that they are dumb enough to use the exact same Exynos 990 as the S20 line for anything else than the smaller *Lite* variant, the performance difference between the 990 and SD865+ will be something like 30%
It doesn't make sense.

Just gotta hope White will be available at launch... and available in the US. That's always been a problem where colors not all available in all markets or released 4-6 months later. I will be pretty disappointed if not available.

Without a doubt the new design is more subtle.
