Note 3 data transfer using USB 2/Micro USB cable issues

When I plug the note 3 in with a usb2 cable to my computer, I am not seeing it in my file directory as an option to be able to selct to transfer data. Any thoughts?

Maybe try a different cable. I have had issues with using some usb 2 cables for data transfer. A USB 2 cable worked for me though slower than usb 3 of course.
