Note 3 Obsession?

I definitely can feel the OPs pain. I took a huge downgrade in my opinion selling my HTC one early & going for a nexus 4 to hold me over for a month. The smaller screen is really hard to go back to once you are use to a larger device.

As for the obsession I can definitely relate what makes it worse for me is working for t mobile. On Friday (yes iPhone launch day) a Samsung rep came by our store with a note 3 international version & the galaxy gear. Playing around with both early is just making me even more obsessed.

I like how they fixed the back and menu buttons to work with the S Pen. I hated switching between that and my finger on the Note 2.

The note 8 has that capability and i love it. one thing that bugs me about my note 2....

I've watched videos about the Note 3 before bed, then had a dream I was using the phone. Next week can't get here fast enough!!!

Same here. A lot of us are in the same boat and can't get a handle on our excitement..

Oh well.. Can't wait for the note 3!

Maybe by the time the Note 3 gets released, BBM for android and iphone will be ready for download just in time to use on the 5.7" screen. This BBM for android got delayed so im feeling double pain. Cant wait to sell my galaxy s4 to get the Note 3.

Im slightly obsessed with the Note 3 as well. I have it pre-ordered... but theres no way im selling my Note 2... I will keep it as backup.

Here in Luxembourg we don't have any exact release date. Could be very early (after the 25th) or only first week of October...

I'm definitely obsessed. It seems like such an awesome device, I can't wait! October 1st for AT&T, but hoping that Best Buy has them early, and will sell them on the 27th like their website suggests.

I'm a note virgin! ;) ordered a note 3 and it should be here Friday......

I haven't been this excited about a phone since the Torch debuted.....Torch, from then-RIM now BlackBerry. lol (at myself) Man, how times have changed.

Pre-ordered the SGNIII on AT&T a few days after the press conference and have been like everybody else in this thread: scouring the interwebs for anything new to learn about the phone. I'm coming off a Motorola AtrixHD, of which I have had all iterations (there were only three), so the SGNIII will be my first Samsung phone, first phablet and first top-tier phone. I'm very curious to find out over time if the stylus is a useful tool or a curious toy.

The screen size will come in handy because my phone is my No. 2 way to watch Netflix and HuluPlus and the multi-tasking, dual screen functionality will be extremely useful in my line of work.

Can't wait for Oct. 1. It's worse than waiting for Christmas when I was 8. :-$

Haha I remember being excited about the Torch. I was a long time BB user and the Torch was my last BB device before switching to an S2 Skyrocket. Been a Samsung user since. I think you'll really enjoy this nifty device.

Wow this is the thread for me ! I'm biting the bit to get the NoteIII ! I have the NoteII now but I'm on Sprint (which is very slow! ).
I'm going to jump ship with Sprint and port to Atnt as soon as the NoteIII is released ! I have 3 Samsung devices to trade in . ( The Note2- The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Nexus )
The Note III will be practically free after I trade all those in ! I have to unleash the beast in the NoteIII on Atnt's network ! I can't wait ! I ordered a case and screen protector from Amazon already ! Hehe
I love this Android Central Forum !

Well when you're about drop $300 on something you'll probably use everyday, people tend to put more thought into it as compared to maybe a $4 thing of deoderant. We want confirmation our $300 will be well spent :p

I will be making my first real android purchase with the note3. I had been a iP3G user in the early days and it got stale before even getting to iOS4 for me. Still is not much different. I went to WP7.5/7.8 and the app lack is killing me even though I absolutely love the the UI style. So, now its time to go to android. I could not go any smaller than my 4.7" Titan and it turns out that the Note3 is only 3/4" taller and 1/4" wider than my Titan so its a no brainer to me to get 1" larger screen for that size increase.

I have not found a thread yet, but still looking. Are we getting the 8core and 4core options on the note3? If so, what is the advantages of each? Obviously the 800 is a faster clock.

Isn't it funny that 4.7" was considered "titan" just a few years back, and now we're all here salivating over a device with a 5.7" display? lol :P
