Note 3 Obsession?

Man you are in a world of surprise, I got to use the Note 2, and what that came out it was the fastest phone at the time, and I love it to this day, the N3 just improves on it, it's literally the most advanced phone in the world

I will be making my first real android purchase with the note3. I had been a iP3G user in the early days and it got stale before even getting to iOS4 for me. Still is not much different. I went to WP7.5/7.8 and the app lack is killing me even though I absolutely love the the UI style. So, now its time to go to android. I could not go any smaller than my 4.7" Titan and it turns out that the Note3 is only 3/4" taller and 1/4" wider than my Titan so its a no brainer to me to get 1" larger screen for that size increase.

I have not found a thread yet, but still looking. Are we getting the 8core and 4core options on the note3? If so, what is the advantages of each? Obviously the 800 is a faster clock.

We are getting the better processor, the 4 core processor, called Snapdragon 800 by company Qualcomm, over the Exynos because Qualcomm was able to fit the LTE radio onto the CPU, rather than outside somewhere on the phone, its clocked at 2.3Ghz so its the fastest quad core processor out there, PLUS Qualcomm implemented Quick Charge 2.0 onto their 800 series processors, so you now your chellphone charges 75% quicker since it can now take 1.5A of power instead of the older .300 from USB 2.0, and .900 from USB 3.0, looking at this site

Youll see that a 3300 mAh battery takes 270 mins to go from 0 to 100, which is about 4 and a half hours, and with the quick charge technology built into the processor of the Note 3, it now takes only 96 mins, or an an hour and a half....seriously..an hour and a half, to fully charge your massive 3300 mAh battery on the baddest, fastest, phone in the world...built into the CPU...wow

Handling the note 3 was definitely an awesome experience. The Samsung rep brought in a white note 3 & white galaxy gear. The new s pen functionality is truly awesome & I love the integration with the galaxy gear. Before I saw & used the galaxy gear in person I wasn't going to get one now I'm definitely getting one along side my note 3.

As far as getting the note 3 early I'll let u guys know if that does happen but I'm not too sure it will since I preordered & I haven't received it yet. Usually the preorders come out b4 the stores get them. We have had the lg g2 for over a week but can't sell it until the 25th per t mobile guidelines.

Man I am obsessed with this phone! I search every hour for new info, or videos, or pics, or forum posts here, for anything related to this phone, i had the Note 2 until I sold it 2 days ago in anticipation for the N3, i mean the technologies on this thing are world leading! usb micro 3.0, world first! did you guys know the snapdragon 800 uses Qualcomms Smart Charge 2.0, so at 1.5A youll go from flat to full in 2 and a half hours! beat that vs 5 hours on conventional, also 4k recording! 3GB of ram! fastest quad core CPU in the world, bigger battery, faster, lighter..i mean this phone is the cutting edge of what human kind can produce, it destroys every other phone out there ( even though some of the newer ones like G2 and Sony Experia Ultra Z have the same CPU, they lack in specs, 2GB ram, or no flash on camera (Sony) or no removable battery (all Google Nexus Phones) or SD expandability, the note 3 is just perfect) it's going to be an amazing feeling when I escape from work to go down to the tmobile store at 10 am when they open oct. 2nd...but dammit am i the only one who feels this way, please tell me someone else shares my pain! 9 days is torture!

Well when you're about drop $300 on something you'll probably use everyday, people tend to put more thought into it as compared to maybe a $4 thing of deoderant. We want confirmation our $300 will be well spent

Tell me please, did you happen to try the screen with a fingernail? I read that if you set it to increase screen sensitivity, fingernails and gloves will work. I'm hoping those reviewers were accurate. And yes, I'm just as obsessed as all of you, it's so nice to know we're in this together!!!

In the video I posted earlier, the reviewer did demonstrate using the phone with gloves on, and, while a fingernail might not be very good at conducting electricity, the air sensitivity should be good enough to detect finger motion at (relatively normal) fingernail distances.

I didn't try the fingernail or glove touch methods honestly I was just happy to be playing with the note 3 & gear. I can say that its thinner then you would expect & the feel of the new back is a lot more premium. I'm very impatiently waiting for my note 3 like all of you. I think getting to use it before release is just making me more obsessed
