Note 3 or Lgg2. . . I know not again

For me, I had no other choice:
S-Pen (must have for me)
IR blaster (very useful)
Screen size

You have to find your must have item. The S-Pen requirement made my choice simple.

Had the LG first (and not my first LG phone) just felt cheap and rushed compared to the N3. But my biggest complaint with LG is the all but non existent updates. And I see no reason to believe it would have been any different with the G2. And the back button placement just baffles me. Not in a good way. So I swapped to the N3. And having never had a Note phone before, the overall size was a little daunting for the first few days. I have exceptionally large hands, just not long fingers. But now 1 week in its like an old friend. And I never really thought I'd have much use for the stylus. . Boy was I wrong. I use it several times per day. It really is the difference maker I never thought it would be. . That's my 0.02 on the matter.

Killin it in on my Note 3.

The g2 is a great device. I almost kept it until I was able to really try the gn3. I avoided the gn3 due to the size but it is just too good of a device to pass up. Either way you have a very good device. Given the popularity of Samsung I think that the longevity of the gn3 will be better than the g2 as far as updates are concerned but lg may prove me wrong. Take advantage of the trial period hands on is the only way to really see what will work best for you.

I left out the obvious in my last post but I decided it needed to be there.
Removable/swappable battery.
Micro SD card.

I pray that Samsung keeps the S-pen, swappable battery and SD card memory. That will keep me with the note series forever.

Pssst. Hey...me too. Yesterday was HARD on my wallet. It actually gave me some lip at Office Depot.

Well at least your wallet only gave you some lip. Mine cursed me out then beat the crap out of me. Apparently, stuffing your wallet with receipts doesn't count.....

Samsung fanboys apparently don't possess any attention to detail. If they did they would realize that the physical home button on their Note 3 looks like it was designed by a five year old. The home button on my Galaxy 4.2 Player is much better than the wobbly, loose button on a Note 3. And that cheap plastic chrome trim!!! That is made from the same plastic that cheap toys are made from. The screen and back cover (black model) of the Note 3 are superb but that's it. The rest of the device is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!!!

I hope you aren't comparing this to am LG G2. There's nothing premium about that device compared to the N3. There's a reason the G2 was on sale for 49.99.

That. That's just...mean. I happen to like my G2.

He must think the back of his phone is real leather. :D you'd think this was an android vs iPhone forum or something.

IMO the G2 is a much better option. The G2 has a better camera (sometimes even considered the best on an Android phone), and while its battery is smaller (3000 mAh vs 3200 mAh on the Note 3), it lasts longer because of a smaller screen. Yes, the Note 3 has an extra gigabyte of RAM, but most if not all of that will likely be taken up by TouchWiz. And while the G2 has a smaller screen, the actual quality is nicer. And IMO the software buttons are a big plus on the G2. If the S Pen functionality or the large screen of the Note 3 appeal to you, go for it, but otherwise, the G2 is a better all-around option.

The price has nothing to do with it. Are you saying the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and Moto X aren't premium because they're so inexpensive? Because I'm sure most people would agree that that is by no means true.
