note 3 preorder confirmation email verizon says delivery by 10/12/13

When I got my email for my more p reorder confirmation it says delivery by 10/12/13 anyone else get that too? I'm pretty sure that's on a Saturday too. Will they deliver on a Saturday?

The phone will get here anywhere between the 9th and 12th. Whatever oddity any shipping notification or confirmation email says, that's the long and short of it. They are not going to ship a phone before your credit card is charged so that's your best indicator. We are doing each other a great disservice when we make new threads based on what CSRs say, BB mobile says, your buddy who works for VZW says, or some oddity in your preorder confirmation.

My card was just charged. I subscribe to Chase alerts and have it set at a $300 threshold per alert....just dinged 30 seconds ago. $355.11 (phone + upgrade fee + Visual Voice Mail change + tax)

I used a Chase debit (checking) Visa...many credit card processors don't show the charge until hours after its made since the payment systems often work in batch mode.

I usually see authorizations pretty quickly. By quickly I mean about 1-2 min after the swipe my email dings from Amex.

I wasn't being offensive about it, but I'm glad you totally "lol'd" at it. You could have added to any of the dozen other threads speculating on shipment dates, which are all equally useless.
