Note 3: S note help please!

Double checked and it is definitely S Note, vs 1. On the plus side, KitKat is now downloading for AT&T. We'll see what happens now

Yes. Saw that AT&T thread. So you're going ahead. You should. More to play with, and I think later KitKat's, like this month, may have improved firmware. I hope AT&T and Verizon get it right.
Sarks confirmed its 1.0 for the 'old' version. Maybe I only got this S-Note with KK after all.
I would guess there were only those 2 versions ever.

Thanks. I'm on snote 1.0..pathetic... I've never found a way to update it.. Quite sad because I like it.. I bet the new one is much better. I have tried the handwriting on Evernote bit I still like snote a little better. Maybe this is the reason to update to kk. Given the att rollout now my guess is Verizon isn't far behind. I guess the tradeoffs of kk may be outweighed for me! (I did see that the 'digital' ui is a little different from these screens shots, such as the edit button being down below.. Looks like the checks can be selected without edit?). Thanks for your post.

I can't see more cover options, I dislike those covers as well. Yes you should get Verizon soon with the latest improved firmware hopefully. It's arriving late for you people.
I would think S-Note 1.0 was the only other version so you won't have missed any, there was nothing to update. They were probably just playing with the version numbers or bringing them into line with other stuff.
I put the templates now available below, probably the same amount as before, but Check List and Schedule at least are digital / interactive. I haven't tried any more. Regards.

Just completed getting KitKat update and now I have S Note version 3.1 so guess I'm good. I had talked to Samsung earlier. There is no way too get the S Note update until it's pushed to you. Fortunately for me, this update came along at just the right time. We'll see how it runs tomorrow.

Ah. That's what I wanted to be sure of. You both still have 1.0 showing on the main S-Note app details.
I am not totally sure it is KitKat related, I thought I had it longer than KitKat. Maybe someone will know, if you don't want to, or cannot update to KitKat yet.

.... and actually my handwriting looks alright on those screenshots, but if I write more than a few words at a time it falls to pieces. My brain starts to write individual letters in differing ways, and a nerve or muscle in my wrist goes limp. I like to think it's from too much tennis in the past. Trust me, its really bad. Your fianc? and you sound a match. (Why do you call him Vice Versa?)

Still would be interested if you can update S-Note without KitKat, or you are just waiting for 4.4 still. Let me know.
Maybe someone else has knowledge of S-Note.

His handwriting is worse than you and I put together though - I made him business cards for his company because when he would write his email etc people could not decipher wtf it said!

Yup, thanks.
The laidees above were still on S-Notes version 1.0 at the time, it changed in version 3.0. One of those things you discover by accident.

I didn't receive a new S-Notes manual in the mail from South Korea
