Note 3: Screen Protectors

Re: Screen Protectors

I'm using the iLoome (9H) GLASS screen protector on my Note3....LUVING it ....SMILE

Re: Screen Protectors

I just picked up the Zagg Glass screen protector from Best Buy. I really like it. No air bubbles, crystal clear, feels good when I use the S-pen. It was expensive, but I think it was well worth it.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 3... yeah, it's spectacular!

Re: Screen Protectors

I have on the 6$ skinomi one...not bad as it has a lifetime replacement warranty but is simply awful cause the s pen writings makes marks on it like anything. .. thinking of gng the tempered glass way but unsure of whether the bumper case lip will cause it to lift up. .. anybody else using the setup I am thinking of using? ?

Bumper cases is what is making me hesitant about a tempered glass protector as well. I have been thinking about going with the Spigen one that has the rounded edges. Should work better with cases.

I have a nillkin tempered glass protector (paid $16 for it on amazon) with a bumper and have no issues. the glass meets to just where the bumper begins. I've tried a few different glass protectors and a zagg plastic one. The zagg made the display feel plastic, and I could only deal with that for all of three weeks. The nillkin went on almost perfectly the first time, but i got some dust under it, and when I tried to get that out, it fubared the thing all together. I tried iLoome after the nillkin and then a cheaper one after that. Both the iLoome and the cheaper one had air bubbles galore. I actually rinsed the nillkin off with water and placed it back onto my phone while waiting for a new nillkin to arrive (and I ordered a spare just in case).

Re: Screen Protectors

Tempered glass - when compared to the legacy screen protectors, is decades beyond them. Same as being naked, but with full protection.

Will a tempered glass screen protector absorb the shock from a drop and shatter sooner then the actual screen itself?

Yes, will look into a bit more into the tempered protectors. The plastic ones also Ron the display quality by quite a bit. ..u won't see it immediately but it worsens overt just a couple of weeks. . Not fake that a 5$ protector ruins the brilliant screen of a700$ phone if you ask me
