Note 3 Sim card?

I upgraded from a RAZR m to the note 3 and returned the note for financial reasons. The guy at the store told me to keep the notes Sim card which he installed in my RAZR m. He said it was better. Anyone know what this means? I thought all the radios were hardware within the device.

The newer SIM card may have a larger memory (to store contacts, etc). Nothing game changing but why not keep a better one.

Also allot of the new sims have NFC.

I know the newer SIMs on ATT provided are secure and allow the use of the carrier supported digital wallet ISIS.
