Note 3 Update

Hi everyone. I've had the Galaxy Note 3 for around 5 years now. Its still working fine, except I recently discovered I need to download an app for my job that my device isn't compatible with. After reading further, it appears I need Android version 5.0 and it also appears that 5.0 was released for the Note 3 in 2015. I'm running Android version 4.4.2, but when I check for updates it says my phone is up to date. Any advise on how to update my Android version to 5.0?

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number? Not all variants got an official update to Lollipop.

You can try Samsung Smart Switch but not sure it work for older device

Otherwise see if anyone on xda forums has your firmware to flash through Odin.
