Note 3 USB mouse not working

I've got a Microsoft Wireless 1000 mouse and I can't get it to work. It used to work fine but now it just says 'USB Connector connected' whereas it used to say USB Mouse/Keyboard connected and I'd get a black cursor. Why is it not working? In case it matters it's an SM-N9005 rooted with TWRP, Android 5.0

Tried my keyboard and it did exactly the same thing

Alright, I'm sure I have another one lying around somewhere
