The reason why I'm chose black was my last 2 phones,, evo lte, and note 2 were both white, so i have had a white phone for 2 years.. Very glad I got the black this time. Side by side the black note 3 is a better looking phone in my opinion.

I loved my white S3, but I thought that the back of the white Note3 would really pick up the dirt so I went with black. No complaints, even after seeing a white one in person at the Verizon store.

Black for me. It's kind of hard to go wrong with either black or white though -- both are generally safe colors that look good and go with almost anything. To me, and this is just my opinion, black looks more professional. That's important to me since I also use my device for some business purposes at work, and why I stick with black.

White for me ...... whenever Verizon sees fit to end my misery......and finally release their N 3's.......much banter about the black back cover having a different feel, softer and or different texture than the white back cover.......many swear there is a difference.......I have held each side by side and can't feel any difference by texture or softness - both very hard.

But....and I think this has been almost completely under reported in the forums...... the white front face has what I think is a very stylish small box grid pattern in the background of the white itself.....very muted.....can't see it in pictures....it is a really nice touch.........the black front is a beautiful somewhat off black solid background......looks great too.

I have never owned a white phone so am going for the stylish white front cover under the Verizon Edge plan and will change it out in six months if I miss my long and until now uninterrupted history of black phones.....

Yeah, the white pattern was nice. The black front looks very similar to my note 2, sans the glaring Verizon

That is part of what led me to go white. Very classy texture. Black just bored me to fast. Though I appreciate ninja black as always.

The argument that a color of a phone represents professionals is about the most hideous thing every time I hear that. Cracks me up. What is professional is how you represent yourself. I didn't hire him because his phone was white? Really folks? Get real.
