Hello everyone

I am very new to android, i have been an iPhone user for the last 3 years and before that it was blackberry's. So i have pre ordered a Samsung note 4 so this will be my first android phone and i very excited to get it and try it out.
I am also in the market for a new laptop and i was wondering which brand of laptops works best with the Samsung note series smart phones?
I have a Dell Inspiron now, don't know if i should stick with this or buy a Samsung or another android laptop.

Help please

I use an HP laptop with my note 3 and 2. I haven't ever had any problems. I think yours will work fine.

I would suggest you consider the two separately, and focus more on what you need out of each. The more you can do in cloud based services, the less it matters what device you're using at the moment. For me, email is gmail, sms is mightytext and hangouts, photos are dropbox...

If you hoped to get a Samsung laptop and use Samsung apps, Samsung storage, etc, you might have a little more trouble later switching to a Sony or an iPhone or whatever. I also log in to a lot of these cloud services from work, or other computers.

Thank you for the replies! i did not realize that android has a cloud, guess i will have to do my home work on all the apps for android.

It does, and it's superior to Apple's in my opinion. Apple may be able integrate things across Apple devices well, but Google owns the internet and cares little about your hardware platform and brings all that to the table. Google Now is a killer app.

And that presence follows you, not your device.

Google Drive, Google cloud print, Nest, google keep, google chrome, and my favorite: google play music.

If only google would take it to the "cloud" with movies like they do with music so I can easily cough cough watch my home movies cough cough on chromecast.

Only wish google would up their storage. I was bumped to 25 gb for free. But that isn't enough. I wonder how people are surviving with only 15 gb these days.

1 week and counting until i receive my Note 4! and all i,ve been doing is reading up on android apps and watching how too videos!

Don't forget Box and Drop Box cloud storage. I dedicate Box for work related documents that need collaboration with people not working here, Drop Box is my private stuff, and Google Drive is photos and personal long term document storage. It's my vault.
