Note 4 Anybody come from a G3?

I am with Verizon and have a G3.
Love this baby, and takes way better macro shots then my s5 ever did.
Alas the Note 4 is calling my name, anybody come from a g3?
Just looking for input, thank you!

I'll probably get flamed for this but here's my two cents. The G3 is laggy. It's awfully laggy. Multitasking is a pain and the animations suck. I love where the design is heading, the flat UI and less bloat. Don't confuse design with execution. It seems these days people tend to overlook things on their own phone to help justify their purchase. I know a lot of LG G3 users that swear there's not any lag. Of course they're going to say that since it's their phone. I use 10 different phone and can tell you that LG is probably in the middle when it comes to lagg. It also over heats all the time. Just browsing the Web with screen brightness high causes it to overheat. I know it sounds like I hate the phone which I dont. I just don't try to justify my purchases. The main reason I sold the G3 was due to the jank and overheating.

Had the G3, its a good phone but I switched over to my old iPhone 5 while I was waiting to get the Note 4, just sold the G3 on swappa today. Picked up the Note 4 last Friday, can't put it down. While there are some similarities, there's really no comparison IMO. Probably best for you to go by a store and try one out and get a feel for yourself if you can.

I switched from the G3. The Note 4 is better in every category--as long as you get one with a screen that doesn't bother you.

Got a coworker who has one, he loves it but its no comparison to the Note 4, hes jealous of mine. Couple of things about it turned me off to getting a G3 back in early Summer. No Qi wireless charging case that works on AT&T and the screen just didn't snap or pop visually like the Samsung does, seemed dull. Note 4 is the best phone Ive ever had hands down. Awesome battery life, most vivid screen, very light for its size.

I also came from the G3......ain't ever looking back. Note 4 trumps it in each and every way, period.

I came from a G3 and while it was a great device in concept and had some great features, it was definitely very laggy and the screen was very overrated. Quad HD? Seemed like the G2 had a better screen in my opinion. The keyboard was great, the device charged fast and the knock on and knock off feature was great, but the device just had way too many faults for me. Glad to have the Note 4 in my possession now. It is so much better.

Same here. Like I said, I like what they are trying to do and where they are headed. They cleaned up the aesthetics but it still way laggier then the s5 or note 4.

The problem with the G3 is the 801 is at its threshold with Qhd and the display tech is inefficient for Qhd. The G3 display consumes almost twice the power of the N4, hence why the N4 has about three hours more screen on time.
