Note 4 Fingerprint scanner or not?

When I first got the phone, I thought I could only hold my finger straight and swipe down, but on realised this weekend that I could swipe it with my finger at an angle (as I hold the phone single handed) so I've turned it on now and its great. That was the only thing I didn't like about the Note 4, but even that's sorted now. :)

I set mine up like I would normally swipe it... Kind of one handed like I'm walking and have it in my right hand. Every now and then I have to reswipe.
I love it.

Had no issue what so ever with it. I usually never fail the first swipe.. Was used to iPhone 6 swipe but quickly got used to Note 4 when I switched.

Got both mine and my girlfriend's fingerprint and so far so good, no issue.

Only problem probably is if you get your finger a little bit wet you can't use it. (it's annoying when you running and you sweat...)

I never use it. If it had worked like the S6's I may have but it seems like the pattern is just quicker and more reliable for me.

No I don't use it, for me it's just a terrible swiper that only seems to work once every 5 times. It if had the N5 fingerprint scanner it'd be perfect. I'm using the pattern unlock atm.

Works brilliant with my thumb. Changed it from index finger, works well. Most tries is about 3, but mostly first attempt. Love it.

Re: Fingerprint scanner or not?

My fingerprint scanner does not work. I have tried three different fingers and rarely will it open the phone. Maybe I have weird fingerprints....

My finger print scanner works about once in every 30 swipes and keeps going into the 30 second lock out. Just can't work out what I'm doing wrong. It is just a waste of time.
