I use Qi and the charge pad is rated at 700mA, no fast charge here, that number would need to be 2000mA for fast charge.

You can't fast charge with wireless.

According to the Qualcom website, the Galaxy Note Pro devices also have the Rapid Charge technology. I wonder if the Note 4 Fast Charger will Fast Charge my Galaxy Note Pro.12.2. There is nothing in the settings that indicate there is fast charge capabilities.

I have my note 4 for like 2 weeks and love it . the adaptive fast charging is awesomea. Its just as fast as the droid turbo. As long as I leave the screen off not the whole phone I can get from 20% to 60 in like 25 mins Dead to full in less that 35 But it won't work with out the charger it came with or a replacement one And don't use them on other phones It friend my bro I'm laws phone

Something is wrong. I use fast charging with the screen on and it gets no where as hot

Hmmm...I seriously just got this phone last week. I recently switched from Iphone to android and this makes me worried. Maybe I'll go and exchange for another and see if that one does it.

I would. If it continues to get hot while charging I would exchange it without hesitation.

Yes. They are the same charger. I use the Note 4 charger for my Edge every day. I left the other charger in the box since I never have to charge both phones at the same time.

No. This is an indication that something is probably wrong with yours. If it's still in the exchange period, exchange it. Mine gets warm when fast-charging and using it at the same time, but never what I'd call "hot" and the screen never dims. In the meantime, do not use the fast charger or turn fast-charging off to be safe.
