Note 4 what do you lose with a launcher

Thinking of getting the note but want to know what I would lose with using Nova, like multitasking bar, etc. Will many of the Note 4 features still work? If not, which ones will I lose?

You won't lose any features. The only thing you can lose is a couple stock widgets, like on the Note 3 the large Calendar widget wasn't available.

Go launcher has been laggy lately on my S3. Wonder how it will work on the N4. Nova has been running smooth though.

I downloaded the Google Now Launcher and I still have all the multi tasking as well as s pen air commands. Those were the two I cared about keeping.

I'm using Nova Prime and can't find anything missing - Works great!

It was a total battery hog when I tried it on my Note 3/S3? Can't remember which one. Horrible launcher in my opinion.

The only thing you lose with a third party launcher is launching Google search by saying "ok google". And maybe a couple of Samsung widgets.

Nothing major.

I use Nova Prime. Haven't seen any lag at all on my note 3.

You can use OK Google with Nova Prime. It's in the settings.

I switched to Nova Launcher and lost OK Google but got it back easily.

I also lost my badge notifications on my icons. Not sure how to get this back just yet, I saw a tutorial that needed 4-5 apps to get them back.

tried nove and go ex? The only thing I noticed I lost was the screen shrink option ofr one hand op.

I still have the Screen shrink working with Nova prime. The only thing that is gone is the month view calendar widget. But I downloaded this App, and loving how it looks and works.

This. Any software that spams me with "offers" and installs crap without my consent will not stay long on my phone if I can help it. It's a shame too, because otherwise it seemed pretty nice.

I used to use GO launcher on my Charge and Note 2, and liked it, on the s5 it was REALLY laggy, and I switched to the Nova laucher....still using the Nova laucher on the Note 4. So far everything seems to work. Anyone any any favorite messaging apps?
