Note 4 will only support 64gb microSD card?

I used the SanDisk 128GB on my Note 3 in the past and didn't have any noticeable issues with speed. Sure I would have preferred a Samsung 128GB microSDXC but when will that happen, 2-3 years from now when SanDisk is on 256GB microSDXC.

The specs on the main Samsung site still say 64GB but they probably just didn't update that yet.

I reckon it will support the 128GB card. I've just ordered one which I'll use in my S5 until I get my hands on the note 4. If it doesn't work I'll just put it into my Tab pro and use my current 64GB card.

I would love to have the Samsung MicroSD 128 GB but unfortunately it's not available yet. I don't get it why until now Samsung still hasn't released it yet.

Probably due to price factor & poor demand. But that's still not good reasons not to release 128 GB.

Double more importantly..... Is the N4 going to be gimped by the write access to the memory card, as like the Note 3?? Some say it's a KitKat 4.4.4 issue while others say it's a Samsung glitch with kitkat. Can't wait to find this answer out.

If it supports the full SDXC spec, then why wouldn't it support the higher class speeds?
Samsung just hasn't released larger than 64GB mSD's, that's why they say it doesn't support >64GB, as they want folks to buy their mSD's.

Go to Sprint's site and look up the specs. It will take up to 128 GB card.

I've got a 16gb card that I used in my Droid X a few years ago. I may just stick with that when I get the Note 4. I've used less than 12gb in my iP5 (that's everything including iOS, apps, vids and a bunch of music), so I'm thinking I'll just store my music, vids and pics on my card and that will leave plenty of room on the N4's internal storage.

I've already received my S-View flip cover so I don't know if that will affect the difficulty vs. a standard cover.

It's very easy to remove the cover and replace SD cards and battery. The S-view cover will be exactly the same ease as the original back plate since it replaces the back plate.

The write access "issue" is mostly a non-issue. Third party Apps can only write to their own folders on the SD card and cannot write to folders created by other apps. For most apps this is not an issue at all. There are a few situations where this necessitates using internal memory or cloud storage instead (or manually moving the files where you want on the SD card), like if you want to use multiple apps to edit and save the same documents in one place on the SD card.

This will not be different in 4.4.4 than 4.4.2. Read access is available to all apps just as before. The majority of functions of the SD card are not affected.

They will allow 128GB just like the Note 3 does. TBH unless you're an audiophile 128GB are overpriced and for the Value 64GB Samsung pro Micro SD card is much better option since you get faster read and write speeds for around $60 if you can find it on amazon and Bestbuy will price match it

I am picking up my note 4 tomorrow and I will be ordering the 128gb San Disk card. Using this amount of storage space is not as uncommon as you think. Lots of people listen to lossless music and shoot a fair amount of high quality photos/videos, as I do. I could easily use more than 128 gb.

It is for me a complete deal breaker. If you use a third-party e-mail app, you will not be able to edit attachments in a third-party office app. You cannot edit photos or videos with a third-party photo/video editor. If you scan a document with a scanner app, you cannot annotate the pdf with a third party app. You are stuck to Samsung and Google, and, sorry, their apps are not covering all needs.
