Right might as well turn the phone into a paperweight, so again making a list is a Bad idea like Kelly said.
Thank you for saying it.... I was just about to say that if I am supposed to do all this, why spend so much money on a smart phone ??? ... might as well buy a regular phone and like you said, use this one as paperweight....

Hey guys I have moved from iphone 6 to note 5. I have been seen overnight battery drain on this beauty. This was never with iphone 6.
I had disable location. There is no email account t to sync. I have even disable Facebook and the Instagram app. I have autosync enabled for the Google account with no for Gmail. I slept at 11:30 PM and woke at 7 am and the decrease was 10%. WiFi was disabled but network data was on. Nfc and other things were disabled. Now what led to that drain is a mystery.

Here is the thing. This is what i did with my last phone which I considered to have very good standby battery life. I just shut it off. Best and only solution for overnight standby drain. I realize this is not an option for everyone since they rely on thier phone 24/7 but. Hey that's just me.

Can't say if i will always do this. But right now its one method. If you must have phone on for alarm. Try airplane mode

But you don't have to do all that. I have no landline in my house, none of us shut off our phones and I have zero alarm clocks now.

It is figuring out what your problem is and correcting that.

This phone has a battery that doesn't require it to be shut off overnight.

You need to post battery screenshots like others have. Having the GSam app is a good option, it shows what the percentage of loss an hour is and posting that.

Turning off Bluetooth seemed to help my overnight drain

I find disabling everything Package Disabler considers bloat is worse on my battery also.

I now go through and pick things and do not disable the Samsung beaming service, etc.

You use shut app, right? Did you buy pocketshut inside it?

My battery life is pretty bad compared to my previous phone (note 3) i used to get a day easily and a lot of time most of the next day but on my note 5 i only get around 3 and 1/2 hour screen on time which isn't the best but i still love the phone and recommend it to others

Not sure if does helps. Still eating some battery in idle. But i did leave email to still sync so that could be it
