Note 5 Bluetooth - Dead! 5.1.1

Finally sending it in samsung for repair. Bluetooth was intermittent, now completely nonworking. Whatever will I do without it :-( This note 4 will have to do!

Maybe it will come back with Marshmallow? Your case sounds like a good reason to keep the previous Note version, or another Android device as a backup.

Well i've read that some, to whom received the update to MM, it did fix it. But I can't wait that long :-D As it looks like AT&T will take there time with this one.

Here's the messages from the tech. Looks like they replaced the mother board....yayy!!

I had the same problem. Bought my N5 in August 2015 and bluetooth range was always terrible. It would tell me "out of range" if I put the phone in my pocket and had my bluetooth headphones on. I never had any issues pairing it with bluetooth devices. I hoped the MM update would fix it but it didn't. I sent it in to Samsung and they replaced the motherboard. It took them 2 weeks to get it back to me. But now it works great. No problems. I was about to give up on the note if they couldn't fix it as I use bluetooth all the time.
