Note 5 connection to PC

Since a week or 2 ago my galaxy note 5 was not recognized by my pc at all. I was wondering if anyone had this problem.
I am using windows 10.
I have downloaded the driver
and made sure to enable transferring media files

Maybe a phone or computer restart will help. You've tried what I would. Sounds like the cable and USB port on your computer were working fine before.

I had the same problem. I tried all the fixes, cables, power block, restarts, factory data resets, "battery pull", everything. I took it in to Sprint. They did the same things I did and replaced the battery, the charging port, and the lcd touch screen. In the end, they replaced the phone. Said it was a bad motherboard.
