Note 5 in-call no sound,what to do?

[Android Central Question]

After updating my note 5 to the last android (7.0) in-call sound got distorted, crackling etc. Two more security patches and no more in-call sound or mic. I can talk without problems on messenger,whatsapp or whatever,but in phone calls i can't hear anything,nor the other person, not even the "beep" while it is calling. Can anyone help me please?!

Thank youu for having me. Unfortunately I tried everything soft reset,hard reset,wiping cache,reinstalling the os..everything but without succes. Another big update should patch this but n920c won t get another one and downgrading is not possible. I hope there is a solution

I can t flash a previous firmaware because of a boodloader error. I practically tried everything that there is possible with basic knowledge.

Hmm, sorry, this is getting beyond my scope of knowledge. Have you already tried using Smart Switch to reinstall the firmware?

Samsung phones don't use the bootloader to flash ROMs. You boot into download mode, then use Odin. See [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN.
