Note 5 saving PDF files as .PDF.PDF

I am attempting to view my pay stubs via work portal. When I go to view my pay stub it downloads the PDF files but its saved as .pdf.PDF, any tips?

Which app are you using for PDF files? It may have an option to "Save As" and allow you to name the file as "filename.PDF", where "filename" is an example name. Sounds like you are able to open the file and read it on the Note 5 even with the default pdf.PDF though?

I have adobe acrobat jnsatalled and w.e is the default application on the note 5. I tried on adobe and it says the file is invalid and won't let me open it. And no I cannot open the file at all.

If you can save the file without the extra .PDF that may help. Trying a different PDF reader is another option to try.

Tried to rename the files, and used a few different PDF readers, and still the same result. It tells Me not a valid file. Guess I'll have to stick to my desktop for this :/ Its funny because I had no issues accessing this information via my Motorola X 1st generation awhile back.
