Note 5 screen will not rotate

I have had the Samsung Note 5 for about 2 months now, and I have realize that the screen will not rotate. The automatic screen rotation button in the pull down section is already on, but the screen is just not rotating.

Go to Settings, Display and Wallpaper and turn on and off the Screen Rotation a few times. Does your camera take pictures that are upside down? That could mean a bad sensor. You can test the sensor. From the phone dialer press *#0*# Once in the service mode, click on sensors.
If your carrier removed that option, you may need to do a hard reset. Save all of your data first because that will erase all of your data on phone.

You are aware that the lock screen and home page screens don't ever rotate. The camera and most other apps do rotate if you have "rotation" function turned on.
